BIDs Belgium participated in an excellent 2 day conference on ‘Cities for All’, which was held at the Färgfabriken, in Stockholm on the 12/13th April.
Over 70 speakers participated in this 2 day event, in which Place-makers, Change-makers, Designers, Policy Makers and Urban Innovators, from all over Europe and the USA enjoyed.
With a simultaneous launch of the European Placemaking Network, that BIDs Belgium is proud to be part of. A super mix of passionate people, with a shared desire to improve communities and cities attended, from all over Europe and the USA. The common interest of Placemaking, from the Public, Private, Civic sectors along with Educational institutions.
Excellent sessions on ‘Inclusive cities’ ‘Gender Equal’ cities, to designing spaces for Children/Youth and many more excellent and relevant topics and presentations.
Rozina Spinnoy, co-facilated a workshop session on ‘Financial Models’, with Ragnar Lund from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, in Stockholm. This workshop team included Wendy Rowden, Theo Stauttener and Helena Olson. Along with the many international participants.
