Bridging Civic Innovation and Politics: Bottom-up Approach to Policy Making

Recently the Civic Innovation Network (CIN), of which BIDs Belgium is a co-organiser presented ‘Bridging Civic Innovation and Politics: Bottom up approach to policy making – working with grassroots, creative communities and citizens’.

It was a super turn out at the European Parliament and the event was supported by the JRC – European Commission and Eurocities. Organised by the wonderful Khushboo Balwani, of CIN, who also presented our initiative and Eleanora Evi MEP EFDD. Excellent presentations by Procomuns – Mayo Fuster Morell, Citizen Lab and Politix.eu.  With interesting panel discussions re ‘Modelling Civic Engagement for a New Democratic Experiment’.
